As a CSS Attendant Care / Psychosocial Rehabilitation Specialist at The Center, you will provide direct, community-based support to adults living with mental health challenges as they work toward greater independence and stability. Through one-on-one support, psychosocial rehabilitation, crisis assistance, and skill development, you'll help individuals build confidence, strengthen daily living skills, and make meaningful progress toward their recovery goals. This role is ideal for someone who is compassionate, adaptable, and passionate about helping others live fuller, more independent lives.

Work one-on-one with consumers to support individualized treatment plan goals established by the treatment team
Provide supervision and assistance with activities of daily living and routines that promote stability and independence
Support consumers in community-based activities and appointments as appropriate
Promote recovery principles and encourage independent living skills
Assist consumers with medications as directed by the treatment team
Monitor, document, and report progress toward treatment goals
Provide support and supervision during consumer crises
Facilitate individual and group psychosocial rehabilitation services
Provide Attendant Care, Psychosocial Rehabilitation (individual and group), crisis services, and waiver/transitional services as assigned
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all services provided
Participate in agency trainings, meetings, and ongoing professional development
Perform additional duties as assigned
Requisitos
Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Valid Kansas driver's license with favorable driving record
Background free of issues related to abuse or neglect
Ability to complete Attendant Care (AC) training within 30 days of employment
Preferred Qualifications
Working knowledge of community and social service resources
One year of human services college coursework, one year of experience in the human services field, or a combination of both
Experience motivating or advocating for individuals with disabilities
Experience with program development or service delivery

Support individuals during periods of emotional distress or crisis while promoting safety and recovery

Daily travel is required to provide community-based services throughout the service area
