“Hi, I’m Danielle, and I want you to know this is a space where your experiences are valid and you are always welcome.”

Meet Danielle:

Danielle Shipp is a licensed master social worker who provides therapy to children and families. Prior to joining The Center, she worked in both school and in-home environments, supporting elementary-aged students and foster care families. This background allows her to bring a well-rounded, practical perspective to helping clients navigate trauma, anxiety, and life transitions.

Danielle is trauma-certified and uses a blend of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and play therapy to meet each client where they are developmentally and emotionally. She places a high value on honoring each individual’s lived experience and strives to create a space where clients feel comfortable, accepted, and safe to share openly.

Danielle believes therapy should both teach coping skills and provide a place of stability when life feels overwhelming. Her approach focuses on helping clients build tools for everyday challenges while knowing they have a supportive space to return to when things feel heavy.

When she’s not at work, Danielle enjoys traveling, spending time with family and friends, and playing with her puppy. She also loves being outdoors and is always on the lookout for new books to read, movies to watch, and restaurants to try.
