About the Role
The primary job duties and responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to:
Provide quality substance use treatment for individuals, family or groups based on assigned case load, credentials, certifications and/or special skills
Complete substance use evaluations and intakes
Complete progress notes, update treatment plans, and required paperwork accurately and timely
Respond to utilization reviews making necessary corrections timely and accurately
Make appropriate referrals to partnering service agencies
Coordinate with SU Peer Support
Participate in departmental and agency meetings, training and community events as schedule permits
Attend professional development activities to advance skills and obtain needed CEU credits for licensing requirements
Maintain valid state of Kansas license to practice in area of degree and discipline
Requirements
The qualified applicant is licensed, in good standing, with the Kansas Behavioral Sciences Regulatory Board to provide substance use treatment in the state of Kansas. Background void of any issues related to abuse or neglect.
A clinical level designation, additional mental health licensing and the ability to speak Spanish are all desired.
