About the Role

Primary Job Duties & Roles include:
Providing initial assessments, treatments planning and follow up care for clients of The Center who experience Serious Emotional Disturbance (SED), Severe and Persistent Mental Illness (SPMI) and Severe Mental Illness (SMI) and/or Co-Occurring Disorders (CODs)
Participate in a TEAM approach for treatment planning and provision
Coordinate services with other community providers when necessary
Provide injections to specific clients as prescribed
Provide consultation to other Center providers to assist with crisis intervention
Understand and achieve productivity and efficiency goals established by The Center for the position
Produce timely documentation (clinical notes, reports, and other professional items) which comply with The Center's Quality Improvement standards and the requirements of all funding sources
Adapt to changing work priorities and a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism
Participate in training as directed by the Medical Director and Center Management staff
Utilize Evidence Based Practices and Trauma Informed Approaches
Meet HIPAA standards for confidentiality of medical records
Comply with The Center's policies and all laws, rules, regulations and set standards of conduct relating to these polices, and report any suspected violations to the Corporate Compliance officer or the Executive Director
Abide by Center Employee Handbook requirements
Represent the Center positively in teh community
Perform other related duties as assigned by the Medical Director or the Executive Director
Regular and reliable attendance is required

Requirements

The qualified applicant is licensed and in good standing with the Kansas State Nursing Board as Nurse Practitioner with Certification as a Clinical Nurse Specialist or as an Adult Nurse Practitioner through the American Nurse Credentialing Center. Specialty in psychiatric nursing. Completion of practicum during masters program in a psychiatric setting with training in diagnosis, prescribing and following patient care.

Desired: Two year's experience in treating patients in an outpatient clinical setting
